Blue Mound is practically our backyard. Our shop sits at 834 Blue Mound Rd W in Haslet, about two miles north of Blue Mound City Hall on the same road the city is named for. When a Blue Mound homeowner calls after a storm, we are not driving in from across the Metroplex. That proximity matters most in the first 24 hours, when fast tarping and photo documentation are the difference between a clean insurance claim and water in the attic.

Blue Mound covers barely half a square mile of north central Tarrant County, tucked between Saginaw and north Fort Worth just west of I-35W. The city incorporated in 1957 and grew up around the old Globe Aircraft plant, which means much of its housing stock dates to the 1950s through the 1970s. Roofs here show a predictable pattern: aging three-tab shingles at or past the end of their service life, hail bruising from spring storms, wind-lifted ridge caps, and original pipe boots and valley flashing that let water in long before a stain shows up on the ceiling.
